DIY bleach painted shirt/ Uradi sam: Dekorisanje majice izbeljivačem

Materijal/Supplies:

-izbeljivač tkanine/household bleach

-mala četkica od small synthetic paint brush

-tamno obojena pamučna majica/dark colored cotton top

-parče čvrstog kartona/ cardboard

-bela kreda/white chalk

-plastična bočica/small plastic container

Upzorenje: Zaštitite oči, kožu i garderobu od kontakta sa izbeljivačem!

Warning: Always protect eyes, skin and clothing from coming into contact with the bleach!

Nacrtajte željeni dizajn kredom direktno na majicu, ili precrtajte sa papira ako vam je lakše.

Draw desired design on your shirt with white chalk.

Stavite karton u majicu. Ovo će obezbediti ravnu površinu po kojoj možete da "slikate" izbeljivačem i takođe će zaštititi zadnju stranu majice od izbeljivača.

Place a flat sheet of cardboard inside your top. This will provide an even surface for you to create desired design and will stop the bleach from bleeding through to the back of your shirt.

Počnite da prelazite preko crteža kredom nerazređenim izbeljivačem u malim potezima, vodeći računa da vam izbeljivač ne prska okolo. Tkanina će brzo upiti izbeljivač, ali ćete posle kratkog vremena primetiti da tkanina počinje da bledi.

Dip your brush in non-diluted bleach and start tracing the chalk lines of your design using small steady strokes. The fabric will quickly soak up the bleach, but after a while you will see your design appear in bright color.

Kada završite, sačeajte bar 20 minuta da izbeljivač deluje, i tada ćete videti boju koju je izbeljivač izvukao. Zavisno od sastava i boje majice, boja će biti u intervalu od tamno crvene do bele. Ako je boja previše tamna, ili vam se ne sviđa nijansa, možete preći ceo crtež izbeljivačem još maksimalno tri puta da se tkanina ne bi previše oštetila. Kada budete zadovoljni dizajnom, ostavite majicu da se potpuno osuši, po mogućstvu na Suncu.

Depending on the cotton content of your top, the color will range from red to white. If you are not pleased with how it looks, you can trace your design couple more time(max three) with bleach until you reach desired color. Once you are happy with how it looks, let the top dry completely (it would be best to let it sit in the Sun for a while).

Kada se izbeljivač potpuno osuši. isperite majicu obilno hladnom vodom, zatim je ručno operite i ostavite da se osuši. Nakon toga, majica je bezbedna za nošenje i može se mašinski prati sa odgovarajućim vešom.

Once bleach has completely dried, rinse with lots of cold water, hand wash your top and hang to dry. After that, your top is safe and ready to wear and wash with like colors.
