DIY Sprinkles necklace / Uradi sam: Ogrlica sa dekorativnim mrvicama
Material: / Materijal:
-transparent plastic tube from hardware store / -providno plastično crevo iz prodavnice sa plastikom
-sprinkles / - dekorativne mrvice za kolače
-piece of wire / - parče žice
-2 cord ends ( I used decorative ones since they were only one to fit tube I used. When choosing/purchasing core ends, make sure they are the right size for your project.)
-2 small and 1 larger silver rings / - 2 male i jedna veća alkica
-superglue / - super lepak
-1 clasp / - 1 kopča
Take core ends and use silver wire to make loops.
---------------
Then apply some glue on tube edges and push it in cord ends.
*I actually forgot to take picture of this step, so I took one while I was finishing necklace. Oops. :)
---------------
Ups :)
Fill the tube with sprinkles. Best to do it over newspaper or tray to avoid making mess.
---------------
Napunite cev dekorativnim mrvicama do vrha.
When done filling, apply some superglue to the tube edges and push it in the cord end.
----------------
When completely dry use metal rings and clasp to finish your necklace.
---------------
Kada se osuši, zakačite kopču alkicama i ogrlica je gotova.
Hope you like it!
p.s. You can do this with glitter or beads , it would look awesome check out here!

DIY: Bug brooch / Uradi sam: Broš buba
-crni konac i igla
Supplies:
-black felt for the body and white for wings ( I used paper stencil and chalk to cut it out, like in this post)
-white glitter for wings and flat glitter beads for eyes ( I used black and rainbow because I had those on hand, silver and green also look good)
-four pieces of wire with flat or ball ending for the legs
-needle and black thread
-some white net to give wings some dimension
-white glue, small brush (for glue), pin clasp and black waterproof marker (optionally).
------------------------------------------------------------
Provucite crni konac kroz iglu i "proštepajte" telo bube. Proces traje oko 10 minuta.
Use needle and black thread to stitch the body to add some dimension to it. This step is not necessery, but looks really nice. It took me around 10 minutes to do it.
----------------------------------------------------------
Namažite krila lepkom i posipajte šljokicama.
.
Use brush to evenly apply glue all over "wings" and cover them with glitter. When it is completely dry, cover with thin layer of glue to fixate glitter.
----------------------------------------------------------
Use net to set position of the wings and then glue together wings and body. Make sure that some of the net peek under wings, I think it looks much prettier like that.
----------------------------------------------------------
Bend the wire with your fingers. Glue it so that front "legs" peek under wings and back legs follow shape of the body.
------------------------------------------------------------
Make slightly larger knot and sew "eye" on eachs side of bugs head.
-------------------------------------------------------
Cut small piece of felt, sew pin clasp to it and glue it to the bottom. This will fixate legs and secure your wardrobe from wire ends when you wear it. Wait for it to dry and it is ready to wear!
Mini dodatni korak: Uzmite crni vodootporni marker i ofarbajte žicu u crno.
-----------------------------------------------------
Mini additional step: Use black waterproof marker to paint wire black. It doesn't transfer on clothes and looks much better in my opinion.
Now it's definitely done:)
Hope you like it!
